How to enter the Midweek Pairs and Fours

All on your phone. It takes about two minutes.

First: register and get your private link

Do this once. Send REGISTER to the club's WhatsApp bot on 072 856 4857.

Send REGISTER on WhatsApp

  • Reply YES when it asks if it is you. If it asks male or female, reply M or F.
  • Your private link arrives as its own message — keep it. It opens your games and entries all season.
  • It asks for your BSA number if the club does not have it — it is on your BSA card. You cannot register without one.
  • Not on the club's list yet? It asks male or female, then your first name, surname and BSA number. The organiser approves you, then your link comes.
  • Already registered but asked for your BSA number? Send BSA and your number, like BSA 12345.
  • Lost the link later? Send LINK to the same number, reply YES, and a new one comes.

Use the bot's number above, not the club's phone number on the Contact page — only the bot answers REGISTER and LINK.

  1. Open your link from WhatsApp

Find the club's message with your private link and tap Open my games. It opens My Club with you already signed in — no password.

Please do not forward your link — it signs in as you.

  2. Find the Pairs or the Fours

Scroll down My Club to District entries. Each competition shows when entries close. Tap Enter a pair or Enter a four under the one you want.

  3. Pick your team

You are filled in as Skip. Choose each other player from the list — a pair is Skip and Lead; a four is Skip, Third, Second and Lead.

    • You must be one of the players.
    • Everyone on the list is a registered member. Somebody missing? They send REGISTER to the bot on 072 856 4857 first.
  4. Add BSA numbers where asked

A name marked (no BSA number) needs theirs typed in the box right under it. Everyone else: leave the box empty — the club already has their number.

Type the player's own BSA number, not a made-up one. A number that is already on another member's record is refused, and the form says which player to check.

  5. Tap “Enter our team” — done

My Club shows Your team is entered with your team's payment reference, and the club gets a WhatsApp with your team straight away.

Pay the entry fee quoting that reference. Only paid teams go on the district's form. The reference stays on My Club, next to your team.

If something goes wrong

“… is already on another team in this event”
A player can be in one team per competition. Somebody else has already entered them.
“… has no BSA number on file”
Type their BSA number in the box under their name, then tap Enter again.
“The BSA number typed for … is already on another member’s record”
Check the number. If it is right, ask the organiser — the other record may hold it by mistake.
“Entries for this have closed”
The closing time has passed. Ask the organiser.
“That is a lot of tries in a short while”
Typing BSA numbers is limited to a few tries an hour. Wait an hour, or ask the organiser to enter the team for you.
A message with a reference like 3F9A0C
Something went wrong on our side and nothing was saved. Send that reference to the club.
Need to change a player?
Ask the organiser. Do not withdraw and enter again — that makes a new team with a new payment reference, and a payment already made is no longer matched to it.
